1. Batu Abah (Vertigo Point)

Batu Abah, also known as Vertigo Point, is a famous scuba diving destination in Nusa Penida. During the mola-mola (ocean sunfish) season, this site is a prime spot to see these unique creatures. Additionally, divers may encounter schools of bannerfish, sharks, manta rays, turtles, Spanish mackerel, dogtooth tuna, and other marine life. On a lucky day, divers may even spot dolphins. However, Batu Abah (Vertigo Point) is only recommended for experienced, licensed divers, as it is located on the south side of the island.

2. Manta Points I & II

This renowned diving site is popular for watching manta rays in real life. At first, there’s only one Manta Point (I), but later the other site (Manta Point II) also get discovered. The difference between the two is the condition of the ocean floor. While the Manta Point I has limestone cliff with 12 – 18 meters deep, the Manta Point II is more shallow with a sandy floor.
